WHAT CAN YOUR SERVICE DO FOR US?

HOW DOES SERVICE WORK FOR A RESTAURANT?

For restaurants, our policy is to work closely with the waitstaff to provide the highest quality service. When presenting your bill, they will also collect your valet ticket and pass it to the valet, who will retrieve your car, clear off any snow if needed, warm it up, and have it ready at the restaurant entrance—so you don’t have to wait.

Restaurant owners can choose to cover parking costs themselves or leave them to the customers.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE UNIFORMS MADE TO MEASURE?

That’s right, Valet Quebec offers a variety of uniforms. Whether it’s the regular uniform, consisting of pants, clean black shoes and a polo shirt in the Valet Québec colors, or a white shirt and black tie, or tuxedos to match the colors of your event. Valet Québec offers you a choice of clothing for your valets.

ARE YOUR SERVICES AVAILABLE IN WINTER?

Valet Québec has all the equipment needed for the service to run smoothly: signage, locked key booth, coupons, 7-foot banner, welcome tent, umbrellas, uniforms, etc…

DO VALETS HAVE SPECIAL TRAINING?

All candidates receive 2 days of training in customer service, luxury car driving and Valet Québec work ethics.

WHAT ARE THE HIRING CRITERIA?

Our hiring criteria are very high. We require a minimum age of 25. Our candidates are screened to ensure they have a clean criminal record. We also follow up several times a year. The driving record and its validity are checked, and no candidate is retained if they have a tainted record. All new candidates receive training in customer service and luxury car driving. Driving and customer service tests are conducted annually.

IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF CARS REQUIRED?

No minimum number of cars is required. However, it’s best to know the number of guests at the event to ensure we have the right number of valets on hand.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

Valet Quebec has comprehensive insurance covering all our activities and all the cars in our possession. What’s more, our insurance is the most comprehensive available, with coverage of over $500,000 per car and $5,000,000 for third-party liability.

HOW DOES AN EVENT WORK?

Our valets will be on duty 30 minutes before guests arrive. As soon as your guests arrive, our valets will take charge of them by opening the door and welcoming them. A receptionist will be on duty continuously to ensure that every guest is greeted in the most appropriate and courteous manner. For the return journey, all the valets will be waiting for the coupons that the attendant will have given to the guests on their arrival. The valets will then collect the cars of all guests. Valets are in operation from the beginning to the end of the event.

HOW DO YOU PRESENT YOUR EVENING SERVICE?

We’ve got everything you need to make the service stand out with our signage inviting guests to the valet station. On request, we can also include the name of the event on the signage, so that our service is explicitly associated with it. We have the required posters and banners at the valet station.

DO GUESTS HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SERVICE?

This is at the customer’s discretion. We can bill guests directly or the customer can pay the parking fee.

ARE THE CARS UNDER SURVEILLANCE?

A valet is stationed at the parking lot to monitor the cars for the duration of the event. Valet Québec ensures optimal surveillance and guarantees that nothing will happen to your vehicle.

DO WE NEED TO FIND THE PARKING SPACE?

We offer turnkey options. Valet Quebec takes care of finding the parking space and negotiating the price. It is also possible to let the customer take care of finding the parking spaces himself.

HOW TO DETERMINE THE NUMBER OF JACKS NEEDED?

The number of valets depends on the type of event and the number of guests expected. For example, the number of valets is less important for weddings than for gala events, where all guests leave at the same time. We therefore need to calculate the number of cars expected and the time required to access the parking lot.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY CAR BACK?

The average return time is 3 minutes 30. We have to take into account the distance from the parking lot and the time the valets will have to travel to return the cars.

HOW MUCH DOES VALET SERVICE COST?

Valet parking rates vary according to event location, time and distance. If no drop-off zone is available, parking meters may need to be reserved.
